Return window
You may request a return within 30 days after the order is delivered. To qualify, the product must be unused, undamaged and returned in substantially the same condition in which it arrived, with proof of purchase.
Email hello@layermint.ca before sending anything back. Returns sent without authorization may not be accepted. Return instructions and the correct return destination will be provided by email.
Return shipping
For a change-of-mind return, the customer is responsible for return shipping and for packaging the product securely. Original delivery charges are not refundable unless required by law or the return results from LayerMint’s error.
If the item is defective, damaged in transit or different from what was ordered, LayerMint will provide an appropriate remedy and cover reasonable return shipping when a return is required.
3D-printed finish
Layer lines, small seam marks and minor variations in shade or surface texture are normal characteristics of 3D-printed products. These characteristics are not defects when they do not materially affect the product’s appearance, fit, stability or intended function.
If you believe an item has a manufacturing problem, send the order number and clear photos to hello@layermint.ca. We will review it fairly and work toward a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate.
Refunds and exchanges
Once an authorized return arrives, LayerMint will inspect it and email the decision. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. We aim to inspect returns within five business days, but the bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund.
At launch, exchanges will normally be handled by returning the original item and placing a new order. If LayerMint sent the wrong item, we will arrange the correction directly.
Cancellations and non-returnable items
Contact us promptly if you need to cancel a pre-order. A full cancellation is available before production begins. Because each opening-collection item is made to order, cancellation may not be possible after production has started; LayerMint will confirm the order status before responding.
Personalized or specially commissioned products, gift cards and final-sale items are not returnable unless they are defective or applicable law provides otherwise. Any non-returnable status will be shown before purchase.
Your legal rights
This policy is offered in addition to any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable Canadian provincial or territorial consumer-protection law. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
