Agreement and store status
These terms apply when you access or use the LayerMint website. Additional terms presented during checkout will also apply to a purchase. If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit an order.
Opening-collection items are offered as made-to-order pre-orders. Payment is collected at checkout, production is expected to take five to seven business days, and delivery time begins after dispatch. Product availability and current estimates are shown on the applicable product page and during checkout.
Some opening-collection pages may use clearly labelled temporary artwork while final product photography is completed. The written specifications, selected colour and order confirmation describe what the customer is purchasing.
Eligibility and acceptable use
You must have legal capacity to enter a purchase contract or use the website with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Information submitted to LayerMint must be accurate and lawful.
- Do not use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity.
- Do not interfere with the website’s operation, security or access controls.
- Do not attempt to extract data, introduce malicious code or impersonate another person.
- Do not copy or exploit LayerMint content except as permitted by law or written permission.
Products and 3D-printed characteristics
LayerMint aims to describe and photograph products accurately. Screens, lighting and material batches can affect how colour appears. Customers should review the dimensions, weight, production time and compatibility shown on the applicable product page before ordering.
Visible layer lines, small seam marks and minor variations in colour or texture are expected characteristics of 3D printing. They do not necessarily indicate a defect. These variations will not excuse a product that is materially defective, unsafe or not as described.
Products must be used only for their intended purpose and in accordance with any instructions or warnings supplied with them.
Compatibility and third-party names
Compatibility descriptions are based on the product types and devices identified on the applicable page. Customers should review the stated compatibility and ask questions before ordering when unsure.
Third-party brand names and product names are used only to identify compatibility. LayerMint is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by those brands unless the website expressly states otherwise.
Prices, taxes and orders
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise. Any sales taxes LayerMint is registered and required to collect, together with shipping charges, will be displayed before payment.
An order is a request to purchase. LayerMint may decline or cancel an order before acceptance because of an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, unavailable materials, delivery restrictions or another reasonable business or legal concern. If payment has been collected for a cancelled order, it will be refunded.
Order acceptance will occur when LayerMint sends an order confirmation or begins fulfilling the order, depending on the checkout notice in effect at that time.
Payment, shipping and returns
Payments are handled through the payment options identified at checkout. Customers authorize the applicable charges when submitting a pre-order and are responsible for maintaining valid payment and contact information.
Made-to-order pre-orders are charged at checkout. LayerMint aims to dispatch opening-collection products within five to seven business days, but production and carrier dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
The Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy form part of these terms. Delivery dates are estimates unless LayerMint expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Intellectual property
The LayerMint name, visual identity, website design, original text, photography, graphics and other content are owned by or licensed to LayerMint and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No ownership rights are transferred by using the website or purchasing a product.
You may view the website and retain ordinary purchase records for personal use. Any other reproduction, modification, distribution, resale of content or commercial use requires prior written permission unless the law expressly allows it.
Website availability and third-party services
LayerMint may update, suspend or discontinue website features and may correct errors without notice. The website may rely on or link to third-party services. LayerMint does not control independent third-party websites, carriers, payment providers or their separate terms and privacy practices.
Warranties and responsibility
LayerMint will honour warranties, guarantees and remedies that are expressly stated or required by applicable law. Except for rights that cannot legally be excluded, the website is provided on an as-available basis and LayerMint does not promise uninterrupted or error-free access.
To the extent permitted by law, LayerMint is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Applicable law, changes and contact
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Canada and the applicable province or territory, without limiting mandatory consumer protections available to you. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
LayerMint may update these terms as the store develops. The current version and date will be posted here. Terms in effect when an order is accepted will continue to govern that order unless the law requires otherwise.
